Made in Germany
Made in Germany
Originally introduced at the end of the 19th century as protection against cheap imports in the UK, the term Made in Germany today applies worldwide as a hallmark. It stands for first-class production of high-quality materials and top quality.
Hydroforming
Hydroforming
Hydroforming means forming metallic tubes or hollow bodies in a closed mold by means of internal pressure. In the bicycle manufacturing tube sets with complex shapes are produced by hydroforming. By this method, you can adjust and molding the wall thickness a required; this can save weight an cost.
Press Fit System
Press Fit System
With the Press Fit System, the essential difference is the way in which the bearings are fitted into the frame. These are found in nylon shells, which are pressed into the bottom bracket housing of the frame. The advantages are clear: immense weight savings, low Q-factor, more ankle-free, a more robust bearing, a stiffer / stronger crank and a simpler assembly.
Carbon
Carbon
Performance-oriented drivers expect a high degree of strength and stiffness, which can only be afforded by a solid carbon frame, whose weight is drastically reduced compared to metallic materials. The main advantage of carbon fibers compared to other materials is, besides the considerable weight reduction, the unlimited possibilities with regard to the shaping of carbon material.
Selection of some color variants, further variations can be found in the specification.
